Why Coderobotics Reviews Every Source Code Project Manually

Most source code marketplaces are built for volume. Sellers upload directly, listings go live quickly, and quality control happens after the fact — usually after a buyer has already paid for something broken, half-finished, or copied.

Sellers submit their project details — description, live demo, pricing, and technical specifications through email — and our team reviews everything manually before anything appears on the marketplace. If the project meets our standards, we upload and publish it ourselves.

After that, sellers get a dedicated view-only dashboard where they can track:

Sales activity

This single decision removes the biggest weakness in the standard marketplace model. When uploads are automated or lightly moderated, low-quality and unsafe listings slip through, and buyers become the quality control system. What Manual Review Actually Checks

Manual review is not a formality. Every submission is assessed against real criteria:

Is the project genuine and complete? Working demo, functioning features, no dead links or placeholder modules.
Is the code original? Duplicated concepts and repackaged public projects are rejected.
Is it safe? We screen for malware, hidden backdoors, obfuscated payloads, and unauthorized callbacks.
Is it documented? Buyers need installation instructions, requirements, and a clear feature scope.
Is it supportable? The seller must actually understand what they submitted and be able to answer buyer questions about it.

Projects that fail any of these are not published. There is no automatic approval path.

Our Position on AI-Generated Projects

AI has flooded every marketplace with generated code. We have a clear and public policy on it.

Using AI as part of your development process is allowed. Most working developers use AI assistance today, and we do not penalize that.

AI-generated does not mean marketplace-ready. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, understanding, documenting, securing, and supporting everything you submit under your name.

We reject submissions that are:

Mainly AI generated with little or no human refinement
Generic AI wrappers with no real product behind them
Duplicated concepts already covered by existing listings
Untested code that has never been properly run, debugged, or hardened

The line is simple: AI can help you build it, but you have to own it. If a project is essentially a prompt output pasted into a repository, it is not suitable for sale on Coderobotics.

We Never Hold Your Source Code

This is one of the clearest differences between Coderobotics and the standard marketplace model.

We do not ask sellers to hand over their source code at listing time.

Here is the actual flow:

You submit your project details and demo for review via Email.
We review, approve, and publish the listing.
When a sale happens, we ask you to deliver the project to the buyer.
The buyer confirms delivery.
We transfer your commission.

Your intellectual property stays with you until there is a paying buyer. Sellers who have been reluctant to hand a complete codebase to a platform before earning a single dollar do not have to make that trade on Coderobotics.

No Payout Thresholds

We do not hold seller earnings behind a minimum balance.

Many marketplaces require you to accumulate a set amount before you can withdraw, which means small sellers can wait months to see money they have already earned. Coderobotics does not do this. Once a sale is confirmed by the buyer, your commission is transferred. Your money is yours.

Direct Buyer-to-Seller Contact and Fair Refunds

Buyers on Coderobotics are not stuck talking to a support queue about code they cannot get working.

If a buyer runs into an issue, they can contact the seller directly to resolve it. And if the problem is genuine — the code has real bugs, the project is incomplete, or it does not match what was listed — the buyer is entitled to a refund.
