- To add your own html template to the script, copy the contents of your index page to “main.html” located in the project root folder. Do not put your index content in index.php or index.html. Copy your other pages like about.html, contact.html etc. to the root folder as well and link your main.html to your other pages.
- Once you’ve copied your index page to main.html and added your other page files, log in to your admin and select/install “My Custom” under “themes”. You now have a separate custom theme.
- Whenever you select “My Custom” theme, your index page is moved from main.html to index.php. So be sure your other pages are linked to “index.php”. But your index page should be in “main.html” and not “index.php” or “index.html”. Not placing your index file in main.html means it can be erased by the sytem at anytime.
