Q: As a seller, can I upload my project myself?
A: No. The Coderobotics team uploads your project after a detailed discussion with you over email, and the entire approval process happens via email. As a seller, you can view your projects, inquiries, and sales from your dashboard.
Q: How long does approval take?
A: It depends on your project. If our team believes your project is a good fit, we can approve it quickly — often within a few hours or a day.
Q: What is your commission on each sale?
A: Our commission is either 20% or 30% per sale, depending on the project price. Projects priced at $25 go at 20%, and projects priced above $50 go at 30%. We are flexible.
Q: How does the seller get paid?
A: When someone purchases your project, it appears on your seller dashboard. Our team then shares the buyer's details with you by email so you can send them the code. Once the buyer confirms they have received the code and are satisfied with it, we transfer your payment after deducting our commission. There is no minimum payout threshold.
Q: Do we need to upload our project files?
A: No. Coderobotics does not store your source code. After a buyer pays for your project, we share their contact details (email address) with you so you can send them the code directly. You do not need to send us your project files to list a project.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: If a buyer reports a bug or an issue the seller is unable to resolve, we will request a refund from the seller. If the seller refuses, we will deactivate their seller account and remove their listings. Our terms and conditions are clearly stated for buyers here, so there is nothing to worry about.
Q: Can I sell AI-generated projects?
A: We do not approve projects that are 100% generated by AI tools. However, you may use AI to build individual features within your project.
Q: Why can't sellers upload projects directly?
A: We want to prevent scam or malware projects from being listed. That is why we evaluate every project offline over email. Once you sign up as a seller, we receive a notification and reach out to you with questions about your project, its demo, technical details, and your right to sell the code. If we receive genuine answers to all of these, we proceed with the listing.
Q: Can I sell my projects on other marketplaces like CodeCanyon, Codester, etc.?
A: Yes, you can.
Q: Do you generate license keys for projects?
A: No. Since we do not host your code, we do not handle licensing.
Q: Is there a fee to become a seller?
A: No, becoming a seller is completely free.
Q: What kinds of projects sell on the Coderobotics marketplace?
A: We mainly sell PHP, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, and VB.NET projects, along with Python scripts, AI tools, SaaS and micro-SaaS applications, plugins, and templates.
Q: Do you charge subscription fees for your projects?
A: No. Every project on our marketplace is sold as a one-time payment with 100% source code included.
