Google AI Overviews (How to get featured)

1. You don’t need to be on Rank 1. AI Overview, mostly pulled from top results, but strong mentions on other sites can still get you featured.
2. Use trusted sites for speed press posts, list articles, and popular platforms get picked up faster than new blogs.
3. Use YouTube. AI loves YouTube. Add a relevant video early on the page.
4. Don’t self promote. “Best X” content works better when it’s published on other websites, not yours
5. Show up where AI already looks. Reddit and forums often cited.

ChatGPT (How to get cited) (easier than Google)

1. ChatGPT loves:
   1. Best X
   2. X vs Y
   3. X review
   4. Alternatives
2. Build citation surfaces, not “SEO pages”
   1. Your whole job is to create many listicles that: include your brand in the top spots
   2. Look “neutral”
   3. Exit on many different domains
