ChatGPT Versus Bard: Which Produces More Duplicate Content

I know everyone is using AI to create content.

There is nothing new about that.

But AI’s like ChatGPT, Google Bard can also produce duplicate content, which can hurt rankings.

Both ChatGPT and Bard are large language models capable of generating impressive amounts of text, but there have been concerns about how much of that text might be duplicate content.

A recent analysis by Neil Patel compared the two models and found that ChatGPT produced 7.92% duplicate content within a single article, while Bard only produced 5.21%. This suggests Bard may have a slight edge in generating more unique content.

As you can see, Bard demonstrated a slight edge in producing unique content, with 85.1% of its articles being original compared to ChatGPT’s 81.4%. This translates to 37 additional unique articles generated by Bard.

While both models performed well, Bard’s ability to consistently generate more original content could be a valuable advantage in certain applications.

It’s too early to declare a definitive winner. Both models are constantly learning and improving, and the landscape of duplicate content generation is in flux.
